Okay, so I realise it's been a whole since I last posted and I apologise but I've been so busy it's been crazy!
So last Tuesday (29/7) my HP took me to see Michael Bublé at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati. I'm not even joking, I love Bublé so much and I had wanted to see him live for forever, and to get to see him in the states was a dream! My HP first took me to this Mexican restaurant in the city which was amazing, and then we headed to the concert. The same night was a Cincinnati Reds (baseball) game and the arena is right next to the US Bank Arena so you could see a sea of people in red shirts and the rest were more dressed up for Buble, it was so funny seeing the contrast!😂 anyway, we found our seats which were pretty good! We were front row at one of the side bits so I could still see him and there was also a mini stage right in front of us, which he came down to and literally he was feet away from me at one point i was almost crying haha!😂😭 Bublé was one of the best nights ever, he was so amazing and such a brilliant performer, I was so not disappointed! He sung pretty much all of my favourite songs, the atmosphere was great, everyone was singing and dancing and it was just a brilliant night! Here are some of the pictures I took☺️
Also last Friday I hung out with some of the other au pairs that live near me! Saralyn (Canadian) came and picked me up and we hung out at Jacki's (German) house where her HD is actually English!☺️ There was also Ani (German), Talitha (German) and Zoe (Dutch) there and we just hung out in Jacki's basement area and played pool and Jacki and I went in her little inflatable pool which was fun despite the fact it was like 10:30pm and cold hahah!😂 it was a nice night with some great girls who I'm sure will be good friends over the year!👍 I also got a chance to catch up with my girl Nicola who is also English and is in Fishers, Indiana which is literally two hours tops away from me, so we're hopefully going to do something soon!☺️
So.. This week I've been on vacation with my family in West Virginia. We've been staying in a house which is part of the Greenbrier Resort that my HD's boss' boss owns! It's actually incredible and so luxurious it's crazy! These homes all start from $1million to buy so it's ridiculous!! Anyway, we've had such a chilled week mainly spent by the pool swimming and relaxing and although I got badly sunburnt😣 it was good haha! Today is the last full day as we leave tomorrow and although it's been amazing I think it'll be good to go back to reality where there are more people like me around instead of all these incredibly rich people haha! To show how rich they are, in the actua Hotel they have a Ralph Lauren and other designer stores!! Crazy! Anyway, that's pretty much it for now! Here are some of the photos from vacation☺️
