one week to go..

So, I've literally got one more week and then I fly! Can't quite believe how quickly the time has flown by (excuse the pun😉) and I don't think it's quite kicked in that I leave in 7 days and I'm not coming back for at least a whole year haha!

So it's been pretty hectic these past couple of weeks, I've been working pretty much non-stop which has been great, as I've had a chance to see all my work friends. My last shift was Saturday and I was fortunate that the weather was beautiful, and although Paris (the girl I was working with) and I got so hot and bothered doing the storytelling, there were loads of kids joining in, which made my last shift so enjoyable!

I've also had my best friend Amy's 18th birthday this week, so on Thursday we went out clubbing in the city (Norwich) and we managed to get a VIP table which included a free bottle of champagne, winning!😎 not only was it her birthday night out, but it was my last night out clubbing before I leave for the states so it was really special to me and I was determined to have a good time - and my amazing friends made sure that I did! The next night was Amy's actual birthday party so another night partying was on the cards which was a bonus! I love parties and dancing and being social and just having a great time with my friends, so really it was the best way for me to spend my last few days in the UK!☺️💕

With regards to the states, I finally have my flight details!!😁😁 I got them on Thursday, and I fly from Heathrow with Danielle (another au pair) at 5pm UK time and get into NYC at 8pm USA time (1am UK time). I am so excited to finally have my flight details and it's the last piece of the puzzle so to speak, so all I need to do now is to pack and then go! 

Although I'm so excited, I'm starting to get really nervous now!!😬🇺🇸✈️
