So we went to London with literally about 100 documents that we got told to take! Really, all that was needed was my passport, visa application, J-1 certificate of eligibility and SEVIS fee! So, arrived at the Embassy, and after about a 30 minute queue (this was 9am, so may be bigger later on) finally got into the Embassy.
After waiting around for a bit, finally had my interview and it was over pretty quickly! All in all, I was out of the Embassy with an approved visa within 90 mins!! So happy!! So that means I'm 10000% definitely going to the States in just under 5 weeks, I am ridiculously excited!!
Whilst in London, it would be rude not to do some shopping, and Oxford Street is pretty much a 5 minute walk from the Embassy so had to really! After getting a McDonald's lunch, me and mum hit the shops for some much needed retail therapy!! Oxford Street is so great but so busy at the same time, being careful with the traffic is ESSENTIAL!! Got some new clothes for the US so I'm one happy girl!!
Anyway, that's pretty much about it for now, next update = HEADING OFF TO THE STATES!!☺️☺️🇬🇧🇺🇸
